Faisal Akef Mithqal Al-Fayez (April 22, 1952-), President of the Jordanian Senate. Before that, he was Prime Minister, a deputy in the Jordanian House of Representatives, and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

He was born in Amman. He received his GCSE from Freres de La Salle in 1970, then he obtained his BA in Political Science from Cardiff University in the UK in 1978. He received his MA in International Relations from the University of Boston, Brussels in 1981.

Faisal Al-Fayez worked as Consul in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Jordanian Embassy in Belgium between 1979-1983, then worked in the political, legal, economic and protocol departments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 1983-1986. After that, he worked in the Royal Hashemite Court as Assistant to the Chief of Royal Protocols between 1986 and 1995, then as Vice President of Royal Protocols during the period from 1995 to 1999, and then as Head of Royal Protocols between 1999 and 2003.

He held the position of Minister of the Royal Hashemite Court, until he was assigned to form the government on 25/10/2003, which submitted her resignation in April 2005.
He was appointed head of the Royal Hashemite Court on April 6, 2005. On November 16, 2005, he was appointed as a member of the Jordanian Senate. On October 25, 2015, he was appointed Chairman of the Senate
